President

I have been in and around Senior Housing for as long as I can remember. I spent my childhood performing preventative maintenance, and basic accounting in communities developed by my parents. Over the past 15 years I have spent my energy on identifying and implementing technologies in Senior Housing to improve the lives of our Residents, Team Members as well as improve the business outcomes.

I have an MBA in Finance from American University, and a B.S. in Accounting from The University of Tampa. I am an inactive CPA and have held positions in both national and local senior housing organizations.

Over the past few years I have stepped back from the national associations to start a new family with my wife Lindsey. My hobbies include tennis, skiing, and auto racing.

Alicia Chargualf

VP of Human Resources

With over 10 years of direct hands-on experience Alicia Chargualaf served in The Cottages prior to our sale of the Cottages to HSL in Tennessee as the Human Resources Director. Alicia represented the company with a true servant mentality and handled all day-to-day issues that came up with grace and dignity. Alicia stayed on with us through the acquisition and now serves as our Vice President of Human Resources.

Alicia lives in Madison, Alabama with her husband Danny and their two dogs. She earned her Bachelor of Business Management with a focus on Healthcare Management from Athens State University, graduating Summa cum laude.

When she’s not working, she likes to read, watch movies, and spend quality time with her family. She was drawn to the healthcare field early on and is proud to be a part of the Cottages family. “I am so proud to be a part of The Cottages family, serving to provide our employees with the best work environment possible to ensure they are dedicated and compassionate while caring for our senior Residents.”

Todd White

VP of Building and Maintenance

Todd has been with the Main Street team since 2009 and joined us to help our on site managers better understand the building systems that support our resident needs. He came to us with a background in sitework, custom residential, and remodeling construction.

Susan Abercrombie

VP of Community Operations

I have been a Nurse for over 38 years and an ALF Administrator for the last 16 years. My passion is with the Senior population. I love hearing all the stories they have of growing up and working and of their families. They have so much to offer us with wisdom. In my free time I enjoy hiking and being outdoors and spending time with my family. I also love meeting new people and making friends wherever I go.
